We have two ENDOW groups here at St. Dominic

ENDOW women's studies give women the opportunity to build community and learn about their God given dignity through dialogue and study. The women's studies are open to all females 18 and older.

Past Studies:Since we began this ministry at St. Dominic's in the fall of 2015, women have gathered weekly to discuss ENDOW's St. Thomas Aquinas study which introduces the Summa Theologiae and teaches about the theological and cardinal virtues. We've also studied Pope Benedict's first encyclical, "God is Love" which expounds on the reality of love.

Upcoming study in the fall of 2017: On Wednesday mornings, beginning September 6th from 9:30-11:30a.m., all women 18 and older are invited to participate in the study of "Light of Nations", a study based upon "Lumen Gentium", one of the sixteen documents of Vatican II. It provides study groups with the blueprint for an authentic understanding of the Church: her origins, structure, sacramental life, and mission to "make disciples of all nations". This study addresses the questions: What does the modern church look like? What are we supposed to be to the world in our current culture? "Light of the Nations" was written to explain the intent and vision for Vatican II breaking down an understanding of who we are and what we believe. Light of the Nations is the constitution of the Catholic faith in our current time and an essential foundational piece of knowledge  with which every Catholic should be intimately famiilar.
